I'm old enough to remember what they did to Garrett Gilbert. Most entitled, nastiest fan base in sports.

Gilbert ended up in the NFL until 2022. Turned it around after he left that cesspool.

Nonstop *****ing since the game about how the refs helped OSU. Meanwhile I dont think Texas got called for holding a single time.

Nevermind the free timeout and no delay of game call on the play Sark was crying about targeting and let the play clock expire. They just held up the game for a minute or so and listened to his whining.

Bad coaching cost them.
You can't run sweep with Downs on the field from 2. He blows that up 10 out of 10. Best instincts in Football
Everyone knows with that much time left in half they are running screen or draw. I don't think they got with 5yrds of that guy.
4 and 2 even the announcers knew what play was going to happen they showed Howard's parents the whole commercial break... Tu had no clue and wasn't even close to stopping it

Worst coaching job I've seen in a long time Ohio State finally plays a average game and Sarks in game coaching cost them a win.

These are some fair points!

I couldn't believe that. We just completely stopped playing by the rules entirely because they were upset.

Funny to see the sips going after Sark and Ewers. Sark has put them on the map again in such a short time. Ags would kill for his success over the last two years.

The hate for ewers from that fanbase is baffling. He's perfect for their scheme. Play elite defense and manage the offense.
It's mind boggling. They all have such a hard on for Manning that Ewers is set up to fail mo matter the situation just short of a natty. Pretentious idiots.

Ewers became a turnover machine in the second half of the season

Ewers usually good for 2-3 game breaking mistakes every game. Tried to give us the game, but we couldn't take it. That said, he played well enough to win and was the only reason they scored that 2nd TD last night.

Yet he somehow lead his team to most of the 24 wins in the past two seasons.

He plays so even keeled, it looks like he doesn't give enough effort or plays with no competitiveness.

Yet in two seasons:
6500 yds passing
51 TD's
17 ints

Sips should be careful what the wish for with Manning. And who is backing him up when he gets hurt taking on linebackers?

Yet at the start of the season, they were all saying he would win the Heisman, longhorns would dominate the SEC, win the SEC conference and win the Natty all in their first year in the SEC!!!!

He's been a pretty good college QB, and has done an awful lot to help that school get back to the upper ranks of college football. Also seems like a pretty decent guy too, from what you read.

Sips are just dumb.

Any team which doesn't win the championship will have some amount of negative posting. I doubt the majority want Sark and Ewers head. This too will blow over

He's a good college QB and I would take him here next year, but he's not great and never will be. Manning has greatness in him. I think they want Manning because Ewers craps the bed every time they play a great defense.

Denial from the fact they barely squeaked buy a bad Clemson team and Arizona State beat them. If tOSU didn't shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly killing drives, it would have been the blowout everyone expected.

The best part of the game was showing the sip fan reactions when they didn't get their calls as usual. That would be an entertaining highlight reel.

Poor t-sips eating their own to feed their hubris.

Refs did their damnedest to give them the ASU win and keep them in the OSU game, as well as others. They've been in denial all season and hung their hats on beating bad teams while needing all the help they could get to squeak past anyone decent.

Even with all the "hype", I don't think Manning will be better than Ewers.

Was thinking earlier that Ewers was not good, but the guy got the job done last 4 games.
If Manning was consistently better than Ewers in practice, he would have played. Especially knowing Ewers was likely to transfer next season...what reason not to play Manning?

I haven't seen a single one of them acknowledge how historically cushy their schedule was. Not one. Every single one of them is pretending they ran some kind of SEC gauntlet. And weren't handed the red carpet path through the first two playoff rounds

These Texas fans are knee-jerk reaction fans. They are not appreciating how Steve Sarkisian has turned Texas into an elite team over the last two years:

1. Texas is 25-5 over the last two years, including 15-2 (8-1 Big 12 in 2023 and 7-1 SEC in 2024) in conference games.

2. Texas has made back-to-back conference championship game appearances and CFP semifinal appearances.

3. Texas has won an FBS leading 11 consecutive road games since a 41-34 loss at Oklahoma State on 10/22/2022.

4. Texas has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country.

Many Ohio State fans wanted Ryan Day fired after their humiliating 13-10 home loss to Michigan on 11/30. It went to the point some die-hards are taking an odd approach to this weekend's matchup against Tennessee: They won't mind if the Buckeyes loseso long as the first-round flameout ends with Day getting fired.

Maxx Crosby, a star defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, belongs to that camp. Despite hailing from Michigan and attending Eastern Michigan University, Crosby is a lifelong Ohio State supporter. He declared on a recent episode of his podcast that he won't watch the Buckeyes again until they cut ties with Day, echoing a popular sentiment among a portion of particularly bloodthirsty OSU fans.

The Texas fan base is delusional…..they want to see Manning play because of their over the top expectation. The fan base dislike Ewers because Ewers prevents Manning from playing.

As I mentioned in another thread, the ultimate schadenfreude next season would be for Lord and Savior Arch to absolutely sh** the bed next season while Ewers transfers to Georgia to replace Carson Beck, takes the reins and absolutely destroys sippy in Athens.

Some people might actually physically explode.

No doubt.

After only one 10 win season since Mack was fired stretching back over a decade Sark isn't on the hot seat or facing any sort of fan revolt for only winning 12 games last season, 13 this season, and back to back Top 5 finishes.

The last two seasons have been tremendously fun.

Don't forget, you can also throw trash on the field with no delay of game or unsportsmanlike penalty, and reverse an unreviewable penalty watching the jumbotron, while the trash is being picked up.

Targeting non call helped them win.

And that pitch play. That's it.
