Austin, a liberal suburb of San Francisco, has too many transgender players. Got their a**es handed to them which makes them excited.

what's amazing...
the sips have won 25 games the past 2 years
but only 1 of those 25 wins is a high quality win (at Alabama last year)
they've done a great job of beating all the average to above average (8-4 / 7-5) teams on their schedule
however against top 5 or top 10 teams (per end of the season rankings)...t.u. has been bad

We can only beat Auburn when we are at home. It's crazy how the road team won the Auburn vs Texas A&M series in 8 of the first 9 years from 2012 to 2020, and the only exception was our 28-24 road loss after we blew a 24-14 lead with 5:14 left on 11/3/2018. That loss costed us a 9-3 (6-2 SEC) regular season, a NY6 bowl appearance, and potential 10-3 finish. Since 2021, the home team has won the 4 games.Kashchei said:W said:

I hate to say it, but Texas has been elite over the last two years:
1. Texas is 25-5 over the last two years, including 15-2 (8-1 Big 12 in 2023 and 7-1 SEC in 2024) in conference games.
2. Texas has made back-to-back conference championship game appearances and CFP semifinal appearances.
3. Texas has won an FBS leading 11 consecutive road games since a 41-34 loss at Oklahoma State on 10/22/2022.
4. Texas has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country.
Hopefully, Mike Elko can bring this football program to the next tier by recruiting some great players, adding key transfer portal players, and properly coaching and developing them. If Elko can do these things and retain most of the top players, we can become a great SEC team that can contend for the playoffs most years. Over the last 3 years, Texas won 10 more regular season games (Texas 30-6 to Texas A&M 20-16) than we have because they have won 11 consecutive road games, and we have lost 12 of our last 14 road games. Winning road games will be crucial to finishing 9-3 or better.

2012 and 2020 were better.

They did not beat anyone as highly ranked or play nearly as talented a deep an SEC pool as there was in 2012. Sorry our year one was far more accomplished in many ways.

They had, at most, exactly the same success we had in '12.
To be fair, if we had a 12 (or even 8) team playoff our first year in the sec, the Ags win a natty. We suffered our losses early in the season when JFF was just getting started.ForeverAg said:
You mean the school that saw more success in year 1 than we have in our entire tenure in the SEC? I'm by no means a Texas supporter by let's stay in our lane here just a little bit longer
