It is obvious. His injury was the main reason the Ags didn't make the CFP. He will be a difference maker again next year.

Four of our 5 losses came directly after his injury.

Yes you are correct. Defense was the main culprit in our late season losses.Hank the Grifter said:agmeister said:

And with the exception of the t.u. game, all were attributable to atrocious defensive play. That's not Moss.
100% of our losses can be attributed to not having enough points when the game ends.Hank the Grifter said:agmeister said:

I don't agree with this at all.Hank the Grifter said:agmeister said:

But we still went into the locker room tied.agracer said:
Auburn and USC for sure. SC, not so much. We spotted them 14 points to start the game.
And Texas becomes a toss up!agracer said:

Still, you have to account for the prolonged stretches where our offense did nothing.4L Aggie said:
Defense was awful and forgot how to tackle.
Auburn and South Carolina scored the most points on the Texas A&M defense in SEC play than any other team they played.
That and it cratered vs USC and lost a 17 point late 3rd/4th quarter lead.
Unless there is a defensive overhaul and scheme change, we will not finish better than 6-6 next year.

More like 10-15 players and a few more competent coaches away from contention.Medaggie said:
There are lots of ifs. If moss. If officiating. If penalties. If the defense didn't get run over game after game. If Reed threw receivers open.
We were not one player away from being a contender
So is night drinking for that matter!!! But it can cause cancer Biden wants you to know!!!Hill08 said:agmeister said:

I'm not gonna bite my nails over 1 win.JDCAG (NOT Colin) said:
If we have the ability to gain 2 yards when we need it, the tu game becomes a nail biter (at worst). Auburn is a win with Moss and I'm not sure how anyone can be convinced otherwise.
So at a minimum we have a 9-3 record with a close loss to tu, but a case could be made we go 10-2. USCe is a harder one to flip, IMO, because we pulled in front after his injury and then just melted down.

Was it an ACL injury? Cant find anything saying specifics on the injury.

Says a lot about our roster if one RB can make us lose 5 games.
I miss Jorvorski Lane so much. Short yardage you always knew he was good for a first down. And dude had the most nimble feet and soft hands for a guy that big.cupcakesprinkles said:
We just need a 250+ pound dude who can fall forward for two yards after gaining one yard when tackled.
