Even if you say it was uncatchable, the contact prevented him from having a chance to breakup the catch and deny the INT. Good call by the official.
Hard to come back to the ball when you are being pushed away from it.
Put another way, if that was an A&M receiver almost everyone here is calling for a PI call and not questioning it at all.
