They're not just a bad team, they're a bad school with bad people , bad philosophy and mostly bad alumni
Lighten up.

It's a damn school. Classrooms, libraries, labs, dorms, etc. etc. Thats all t.u. is. Just like A&M. You're taking this stuff way, way, to seriously.

The best thing the Aggies could ever do is tell the SEC to eff off and join the B1G…but it will never happen because too many Ags want to be able to play tu and base their happiness on just beating them. It's beyond pathetic, but here we are…again.
It's not that at all. Not a single GD person on this board (I don't think…..) wanted anything to do with scum sucking sips in our conference again. But here they are. Now you just have to beat them. Turning tail and running from them won't solve anything. Bama isn't scared of them. LSU isn't. Why should we be?

Nobody is saying they're scared of them. The fact is that they screwed up the two conferences that they shared with A&M and now they're here. If someone steals from you twice, then gets the authorities to let them off without any punishment, then you move away, only to see them show up again in your backyard and you hear the new authorities saying and doing the same things for them like before, you can give up and let them pillage you some more OR you can move away again and look out for yourself.

Bama and LSU have never had them as conference mates. And everyone else in the SEC isn't in state with them, where the BOMC controls 95% of the content that goes out to the public, as well as their control over the legislature and woke corporations bending their knees to them to support them. Nobody else can understand the reality of what the next few decades will most likely look like. Auburn can understand what it's like with Bama, but Bama has never rigged the game so much that they ruined the SEC they share with Auburn. The Ags have seen it happen twice...and will most assuredly feel the pain even more in the decades ahead. That's not scared, that's recognizing reality.

Why do people always insist on saying stuff like this without regard to how things change year by year?

SEC, clearly, didn't have its strongest year. So yeah, this year. Overrated.

Next year (or the year after), don't know. Will probably get better.

No, they should just close down the free forums to the public. Have it paid only for posting.

If you think they would treat us any better forget it. The B1G would never allow a Texas school to get everything they want. It basically is going to be dominated by the Midwest and Left Coast. They will always be first in line. Fearing tu is beyond pathetic. Get a better program they cease to be a problem.

The SEC is weaker than usual. Texas is the only SEC team remaining. Tennessee and SEC Champion Georgia were one and done.

The SEC went 10-3 against the ACC and 5-2 against the Big 12 but has a 4-5 record against the Big Ten ahead of Texas' matchup with Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl next week.

Four of the teams to finish the regular season in the top-five of the SEC standings ended the year with at least three losses. That doesn't include four-loss seasons from Alabama and LSU. The conference had a team finish the season undefeated three times in four years from 2019 to 2022.

Again, no one is saying they are scared of tu. I'm saying that you know what they are, they've ruined both conferences that you shared for decades and get unfair advantages that cannot be defeated via their media, their legislature power, and CFB power brokers, Getting a spot int he B1G is also a huge bit for the academic side of the university, as the B1G gets more money from academic grants and research than the athletics brings in.

But, by all means, stay in the SEC, be thrilled with getting treated like used toilet paper for decades.

No SEC teams in the final four of the inaugural12 team playoff.

BIG has two teams and three of the four are Yankee teams. Pretty shocking and a clear changing of the guard in college football post-Saban.

I don't think you know what a Yankee is.

A Yankee can be anyone from the northern part of the U.S.
look it up. It's not difficult.

Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Ohio are considered north by most Americans who have looked at a map, especially if that American is from Texas.

Why do people think single elimination games define a league or a team?

Agreed, it's dumb. Just like dismissing a team for getting blown out as being not worthy of being in the playoff is dumb.
Same folks who call any team that loses a game "trash."

This keeps being repeated here. Please explain how Texas was responsible for the demise of the SWC. The SWC couldn't compete with the other power conferences without expansion. Every Aggie I knew was thrilled with the formation of the Big12.

Between '84 - '94, A&M completely dominated Texas on their way to multiple conference championships. This pity party, conspiracy crap is just silly.
