What conference is Bevo in these days?

Earned it by beating the #12th ranked Clemson, and a win over #10th ranked ASU in 2OT with a little official-help. Best win was us and Vandy before that. At least they play Ohio State instead of the other 2 semifinalists.

Every conference has a good top two, maybe three teams.

Where the SEC chews up the others is when you start matching up #4 thru 10-ish

The season makes for cannibalism, with the mid seeds sometimes taking a bite outta the top seeds

Few SEC teams had a typical SEC grind due to expansion.

Agreed, it's dumb. Just like dismissing a team for getting blown out as being not worthy of being in the playoff is dumb. Oregon was the only undefeated team and had beaten good teams including Ohio State during the year and yet they were down 34-0 yesterday in the second quarter. Does that mean they didn't deserve to be in?

You don't ever know what you're going to get. Ohio State looked impotent against Michigan at home but annihilated Tennessee and Oregon. Notre Dame lost at home to Northern Illinois but will likely be in the NC game. Alabama beat Georgia but got embarrassed by OU. It's all a crapshoot week to week and people who think any single game defines anyone are wrong. Hell, the NFL tries to keep a level field of talent and has an extensive playoff system and lots of Super Bowls have still been blowouts.

Ahh, there it is. Apparently the Ags are national champions at milking satisfaction from SEC teams that actually have their crap together. Sadly, this moral victory will evade us this year. We still have the "best 5-loss team in the country" however…

The best thing the Aggies could ever do is tell the SEC to eff off and join the B1G…but it will never happen because too many Ags want to be able to play tu and base their happiness on just beating them. It's beyond pathetic, but here we are…again.
