I don't think they were going to snap it. I believe they were going to take the delay.

Doubt they'd have taken the delay but instead called timeout. Was 6 seconds left when Leonard clapped and got them to jump.

:03 when they jumped. Either way, KS should have called TO.

no. That's the refs giving them CPR.

well, I doubt texas can beat OSU, first...
if they get past OSU, ND likely can beat texas...

If ND holds on to their lead (looking pretty likely), all four teams that had a bye will have lost.

Even at 3 seconds, would have still been time for Freeman to call the TO if needed.

Kirby likely didn't call a TO because I'm sure he figured his guys would be disciplined enough to not fall for hard count.

I'm convinced that byes are poison in this new era of college ball. Rarely does a team look better after a bye, unless a key player came back from injury. Usually they just look worse.

First round, home team won every game; second round, "road" team won every game. Weird.

so RL former Duke QB is that good???

I would have thought A&M QB would be better at start of season...

If the OSU team that played yesterday shows up to play tu, they will pick over Bevos bones. I think the ncaa wants someone other than an sec to win the natty this year…

Why in the hell didn't Elko bring Riley Leonard with him to A&M? He's the real deal and we would have won 10+ games.

What the NCAA wants is not why tOSU is so good. They are peaking at the right time. On the other side the NCAA didn't injure Beck. That was a poor block by the OT. No need for some dumb conspiracy theory.

if you're Riley Leonard, do you:

a) go to ND to a guaranteed starting spot on a team which will almost 100% be in playoff conversation, or

b) go to a rebuild at A&M and compete against Wiegman and Reed for your senior year?

I think it's pretty exciting. Marcus Freeman took over at ND because the players wanted the 35 year old, never before head coach to take over. And the erstwhile pinnacle of college football said yes. And he has delivered in a big way without the jackassery of Kelly. I'm a fan of the daring hire and the results he's delivered…and I historically have hated ND.

That is the riddle... I am not sure that Riley Leonard is that good and yet here he is winning game after game...

So, he is that good or his whole team and coaching that good?

If you replace Riley Leonard with CW our former QB, will they ND have the same similar results? I say may be...
