Imo that list only helps the case that is being made . There's someone noticeably missing from that list and that someone also had a significant impact on a number of those schools that are on the list and the severity of their penalties.

The refs got bailed out a little when Bert missed the FG. One thing that would have had a much smaller chance of happening was Texas getting a chance to kick a game winning field goal in regulation. Had they reversed that targeting and Texas marched down the field and won the game a minute later it would have been even worse.
The only "I told you so" is toward the fans of other SEC schools who had no clue and thought the SEC was too strong to be taken over by sip.

Texas has a good team, but they have one Achilles Heel. I know because I have watched Aggie Football do it for decades. Even when they overmatch their opponent with talent, they play down to the level of the competition. They did it against us, and they did it with ASU. They frequently did it in the Big XII.

The refs. the schedule, the money ....the whining....that school in Austin threw water bottles on the field and actually had success with it. They have a fickle fan base mostly made up of their marketing to Walmart.. Where there is a t-shirt there is a fan. The are out with relentless gloating. I can't stand them and I was enjoying the times without them in everything we play. I no longer enjoy going to the SEC sites to get updates because they are there. Limbo? He was never put here to get us a winning program....only appear to be such...paid a lot of money to keep us from becoming that successful football program. He was picked to do a job and it wasn't to win football games. He was nothing more that a covert pawn on a mission. Our Athletic Director now at Ohio State....watch that one. This is the real team we are playing and you won't until they let us.
Saban was retiring two years before - he made the announcement and they buried it seems texas is coming in the SEC but need to wait two years. They said it was OU they were waiting on but face it texass doesn't wait unless it benefits them and that it does. It was confirmed that the plan all along was to put texass on a weak schedule cherry picked for them causing us to lose the divisions for two years. We lost for that. Two missed FG for texass to win and missed yet they won with the gifts of inconsistent calls.
There are more accounts of things that support this and I could go on, but it's not necessary. Whoever thought or thinks playing texass in anything is fun, you need to check yourself. They are not a fun opponent. Win and I'm glad we got outta there with a win ...lose and it's a loss that affects me for a while, especially when it's so obviously "challenged". Win or lose - they aren't fun...I dread the damn game and wish we never played them again. They are not the SEC culture fan base and neither are OU and Missouri. They all three are Big 10 culture schools.

We couldn't solely block the expansion and them joining, my question was always why would Arkansas and Mizzou not want to block it for competitive and historical reasons and State and Vandy for competitive reasons also. That should have been a block of 4 no votes along with aTm to have 5 no votes total to block it.
The rest just all blindly voted yes assuming it was going to mean more $$$ in their coffers, they didn't read the fine print or understand that the only additional $$$ was going to cow and OU, not Bama/UT/lsu/UGA/FL, etc.
