All they care about is $, and they're getting plenty of it right now.

It's been in the works since the Pac 12 deal fell thru. Throw on an alumni who has his eyes set on winning governor for this state, an unproven name getting recruited, and who knows what else.
Just watch it all unfold. No one cares what we warned them about. It will be forgotten in a week.
Just think. Texas could have gone toe-to-toe with Arizona State every season of they had joined the PAC 10.
Texas has a good team, but they have one Achilles Heel. I know because I have watched Aggie Football do it for decades. Even when they overmatch their opponent with talent, they play down to the level of the competition. They did it against us, and they did it with ASU. They frequently did it in the Big XII.
tu doesn't make A&M a dime more than was already being shared with existing SEC teamsSteveA said:
It's about money, not wins. When you idiots stop going to games, buying merch and not lining their pockets, they will make a change. SEC makes A&M lots of money. tu makes the SEC and A&M lots of money.
The problem, is that texas does athletics and plays the game better than we do. always has.
Yep. As soon as I saw the blitz picked up, I knew the game was over.dreyOO said:Terrible call by their DC. Before that snapped, I was telling my family they'd go for the EZ. And what does ASU do, an obvious blitz that is stuffed at the LOS. Such a bad call.zb008 said:

How about we stop letting t.u. live rent free in our heads? Whether they win or lose or next week, won't make us any better. Won't get us any closer to our natty.TexAggie1999 said:We always complain when things don't go our way. There's only one problem with your assessment.........
Nobody from the pre-expansion SEC is getting even ONE more $$ than they weren't already getting or going to be getting. The only "SEC" teams to see a massive increase in their revenues are cow and OU, to bring them up to even standard with all the other SEC teams. No other SEC teams are getting increased revenues for cow and OU joining the SEC, none, not one penny.
Now, the maybe could change if we go to 9 conference games and Disney/ABC/ESPN decides to pay more $$; but they have already said they are not going to whether we stay at 8 or 9 conference games, they will not renegotiate the contract. They have no incentive to pay more
We couldn't solely block the expansion and them joining, my question was always why would Arkansas and Mizzou not want to block it for competitive and historical reasons and State and Vandy for competitive reasons also. That should have been a block of 4 no votes along with aTm to have 5 no votes total to block it.
The rest just all blindly voted yes assuming it was going to mean more $$$ in their coffers, they didn't read the fine print or understand that the only additional $$$ was going to cow and OU, not Bama/UT/lsu/UGA/FL, etc.

Except UGA with their starting QB is much better. UGA with their #2 QB is better also. As proven on the field.

The refs. the schedule, the money ....the whining....that school in Austin threw water bottles on the field and actually had success with it. They have a fickle fan base mostly made up of their marketing to Walmart.. Where there is a t-shirt there is a fan. The are out with relentless gloating. I can't stand them and I was enjoying the times without them in everything we play. I no longer enjoy going to the SEC sites to get updates because they are there. I don't whine...and I never lose to anyone. Outscored, and I will correct anyone coming at me with "You lost, losers" The texass putzes comin' at you don't have facts or history to argue...they don't wake up but when the team does or abandon them mid-season. I want a fair game
I did some research and can be well connected if I want to know something. Here are some things to think about...
Limbo? He was never put here to get us a winning program....only appear to be such...paid a lot of money to keep us from becoming that successful football program. He was picked to do a job and it wasn't to win football games. He was nothing more that a covert pawn on a mission. Our Athletic Director now at Ohio State....watch that one. This is the real team we are playing and you won't until they let us.
Saban was retiring two years before - he made the announcement and they buried it seems texas is coming in the SEC but need to wait two years. They said it was OU they were waiting on but face it texass doesn't wait unless it benefits them and that it does. It was confirmed that the plan all along was to put texass on a weak schedule cherry picked for them causing us to lose the divisions for two years. They struggled to win those games without ref help. Students throwing water bottles on the field proves successful at getting refs to change calls not their way. Don't kid yourself... it's not about gambling and betting lines...it's much higher than that.
The announcers have slipped and said ..texass is the Lone Star going to the NChamp Game as it's been planned. Yes, it was planned and they paid to get it to happen. Every game had bad calls it goes where they go. Look....in 2011 we didn't lose that game...I was right there in front of the late flag. Even the announcers said controversial call.. BAD CALL. We lost for that. Two missed FG for texass to win and missed yet they won with the gifts of inconsistent calls.
There are more accounts of things that support this and I could go on, but it's not necessary. Whoever thought or thinks playing texass in anything is fun, you need to check yourself. They are not a fun opponent. Win and I'm glad we got outta there with a win ...lose and it's a loss that affects me for a while, especially when it's so obviously "challenged". Win or lose - they aren't fun...I dread the damn game and wish we never played them again. They are not the SEC culture fan base and neither are OU and Missouri. They all three are Big 10 culture schools.
We have had sop many coaches...and that was by design...you tend to see how long this has been happening. I will always be loyal to the Aggies, no matter what, but I hope we have paid our dues of some kind...it's time to let our team be the power house it is...can be and will be. GIG'EM

Agreed. But that doesn't change the fact the calls were completely one sided. Hell they even tried to overturn calls on the field in favor of tu.
Not even close. Targeting on ASU INT was every bit the foul that was not called on texas safety.
Skattebo OT TD was a foul on their OL. You cannot pull someone forward like that.
