That was the second time they didn't call targeting that I thought they would when they reviewed it. The first was when ASU intercepted the pass and the second defender his high on the tu receiver.
PS. Go watch the TD return by tu and you will see a textbook blind side block that should have been called (not targeting). It was the same type of hit that we had called against us in LSU game by Walker.

ASU TD in OT should have been called back. OL clearly pulled the RB which is not allowed. You can push but not pull. Surprised that wasn't called.

Refs should have to have a press conference where they answer questions and explain the reasoning behind calls. They need to explain why it wasn't targeting.
t.u. = targeting university. US, Georgia, ASU -- 3 critical non calls on blatant or borderline head to head contact.

This was the perfect ending for the powers that be. When ESiPN replays this later, they'll scoot by a "questionable call late in the 4th" before they go to 10 more highlights in OT. If that...then they can say officiating had nothing to do with the win.

The BMAs were apparently thrilled to play the sips again, even though we had a great series going against LSU. It's all about money so I don't expect we'll ever have another championship in football.

This game shows why losing teams say officials are against them. ASU had a targeting similar to the one tu had. ASU had a blatant pulling the runner that gave them a TD and tu had a blind side block on a scoring runback. People only remember the plays that go against the team they are rooting for and don't notice/remember the ones that go in their favor.

And how do you know that? ASU kicking game was woeful and they would have still had a long way to go for a TD.
The more impactful non call against tu was the missed blind side block on the TD return.
Anyone have a clip? I didn't get to watch the game.
