These WR additions fron the portal along with our freshmen recruits are phenomenal. We may be able to just outscore teams and not have to rely on a good defense with Reed and this arsenal of WR's.

Hopefully he is capable of catching 40yd passes on 3rd and short

At this point it is safety and DT. We have a ton of talent at Safety so hopefully someone steps up. DT we are going after the portal and it's a wait and see.

Not going to get into it again but a lot of what you said was factual with a negative spin. You left out a lot of details that painted a true picture.

In the end we have improved our offesne and we should see significant growth. Defense still has work and questions but we've made some improvements

Vander is very objective. I don't think anyone is happy with the way we finished but not unexpected. Plenty of other teams for you to follow.

Reed wasn't bad and he was only a Freshman.

I think our O Line was serviceable which is much improved over the Addazio era, but I want much better. They cost us some games with their inability to let our RB get a yard.

In fact I want to put our primary focus on OL and DL every season. Not one, both. Make them top tier then let's see what happens.

I agree they weren't outstanding but it's going to take some time to fix Addazio's **** up. We saw a ton of progress from last year and I expect more next year. OL is all about being a unit and not necessarily individual play.

We added a top 5-8 portal player at a position of need a you think being "objective" is ****ting on anyone saying "this is nice, our offense may have some better pieces next year"

Doesn't surprise me that you can't count past 1.

And getting another top WR out of the portal can be celebrated separate from our meltdown of a season. It is directly addressing our issues after all.

Reed has his flaws and needs to work on accuracy in certain situations but 61.3% completion on the year and 64.2% in the final 5 games is very good.

Is this all you got? If so it's not much.

Be sure and watch the playoff games in two days. I have no doubt all the QBs will have multiple missed throws at times. Heck Ewers is good for 4-5 a game.

Reed for a Redshirt freshman has shown great leadership. Great interviews after tough losses. Was thrown in out of the lineup all year having to manage dealing with an experienced QB that was not the same for whatever reason.

No college QB is perfect at all times but the leadership areas and his athleticism will be very beneficial for him improving even more next year.

Who is going to wear #10 next year?

With all these huge portal pickups, we are sure to go 8-4 next year. Half the team will sit out from a mid bowl game. We'll have massive portal turnover and everyone will think we'll be better in 2026.

In fairness, it's really 10 portal guys that are a pretty dang good haul, along with Moss, Daniels, Reed-Adams, Nabou, Scooby, Chappell, and Will lee who should most of which be available this spring and all by next fall. We probably will add 5-6, if not 7 more portal guys. Basically, 23-24 players who weren't on the field last weekend make it a completely different team and a big unknown on what we will become.

Now, I'm not even sunshine pumping. I'm still currently predicting 8-4 next season. But the sky isn't close to falling yet and that bowl game, if you take emotions out, really shouldn't make too much of a difference overall. Had we held them on one last drive and won, we all feel so much better, but in reality, our outlook for next year is literally the exact same.

Elko has a big year 2 ahead of him and he needs to show improvement. I'm 50/50 on whether he will or not. Still a lot of concern over our defensive coaching and personnel right now. Actually quite a bit more optimism on offense than I expected as of 2 months ago.

Kevin Concepcion will be a huge asset for our offense.

OL play wasn't that bad. Plus Kam wasn't a starter and wasnt going to start next year. He will be a missed depth peice but not a massive loss. None of our portal loses were massive.
