It's a false narrative that's been spread for awhile.

A&M was 5-5 vs. P-4 opponents

Bowling Green finished 7-5 -- they were a decent opponent

New Mexico State (3-9) was not

Either way no university has done less with more than A&M. This isn't debatable.
