So far going just as we expected.

No doubt in my mind that Notre Dame & Penn State would have struggled much more against Ole Miss, Bama or South Carolina. Heck, even A&M plays against ND & PSU better than what we saw.

Clapping and cheering is one thing….. and that is a petulant comment as nobody said the other team should clap or cheer so …Quit being obtuse…Booing is another thing altogether. If you can't see the difference…. you might rethink calling someone else dumb.

They are from Dallas, so not really Texan

The SMU QB mistakes really hurt them bad and made this look way more lopsided. It is hard to beat your opponent when you are beating yourself. I am glad they are in and not bama.

Down 28-0, as a player, no, you don't quit. As a TV watcher with a family and a life, most of us would walk away and check in from time to time on the ESPN app for a score update.

The real 2%er is the one who is foolish enough to think that there's better than a 5% chance of a comeback. The real Aggie fans with decades of BAS like me know better than to waste another Saturday while feeding their ulcer with false hope. If we're down 28-0, I'm moving on with family and house duties and not pretending that this isn't minor league football in 2024.

My original post was that it was in bad taste and shows no class for Penn State fans booing SMU as they came out of the tunnel to start the game. I'll stand by that cause Aggies are taught not to do that. At least they were when I was there. If that's what you call a bad post, so be it.
Pumpkins original post said there should be a " mercy rule" so if teams were behind they would just stop the game and move on to the next. Nobody was discussing about quit watching a game on TV etc. if you didn't want to. Certainly to each his own on that.
I will add that I have you by about 20 years earlier on graduating class so I've experienced Aggie football for about two decades longer than you my friend. Back when being behind by 28 or more was the norm for many games.
