His Aggie career is officially over… is this the first time a backup has opted out for the NFL Draft
Good luck to the guy but maybe he did reach his full potential. I mean, he had 4 years to prove that he was more than what he showed on the field. Of course, having that carousel at the QB position every year didn't help.jrgypsum said:
Shame - but not all achieve potential.
At least he can take pride in a degree from TAMC!
Dude, Moose isn't an NFL receiver.PatAg said:
Its weird because everytime they actually gave him minutes, he would make plays.
Seems to mean he is just not doing something in practice he needs to, so he will have to get that figured out to be a pro
You're probably right, but we will see.1876er said:Dude, Moose isn't an NFL receiver.PatAg said:

Those passes he caught against L$U in 2022 won't soon be forgotten.

Literally forgot he was on the team. Godspeed, Moose.

Maybe its just me but I applaud Moose for staying at Texas A&M with so many kids opting out when things dont go as planned. Certainly things didn't work out as planned and maybe part of that was on him but he is and will always be an Aggie to me. Thank you Moose for staying and being part of the team and Gig Em!

Who knows? Reminds me of the "Sumlin's dog house" rumor era, when we never knew if a player had real problems or if he just mouthed off to the wrong pair of sunglasses in practice.Quote:
Must have been some bad stuff to not throw it his way more often.

I hate the way, however, that so many are ragging on him. He stuck it out at A&M, even though he was having trouble seeing the field. He could have just as easily headed to another (lesser) program and put up some pretty eye-popping numbers. God knows, we saw some great catches from him when he was spirited enough to do them.
But since he stuck it out here, he is somewhat rare these days, and I will always hold him in high esteem and wish him the best.
