Texas A&M adds former Nebraska TE Nate Boerkircher via transfer portal
The Aggies have gone into the portal and nabbed a commitment from former Nebraska tight end Nate Boerkircher.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder is Mike Elko's sixth addition during this winter transfer window.
A native of Aurora, Nebraska, Boerkircher played in 39 games for the Cornhuskers. After preserving his redshirt and only logging action in three contests as a freshman, he featured in every game of the following three seasons and made 17 starts. Viewed more through the lens of an in-line physical presence in the run game, Boerkircher has 19 receptions for 219 yards and a touchdown to his name, with most of those numbers being accumulated this past fall. He was most notably on the receiving end of the 2-point conversion that gave Nebraska a late lead against Ohio State in late October.
We will have more breakdown incoming soon for our TexAgs Premium subscribers.
