my observation...

when the sips play from ahead...they are really good

but when they are even or have to play from behind -- like in their 2 games vs. Georgia -- they have problems

very much a front running team -- not a come from behind team

Texas defense is very good. Held Georgia the first half like they held us. Georgia and sips play calling and creativity is so much better than ours.

We got whipped on the line against Texas, but better play calling and decision making would have greatly helped and could have made it 17-17 with 4 min left in the game.

Total Georgia yards was 277. I believe ours was ~250. Sips total yards was 389. I believe they had ~450 against us. Coaching, play calling, and making the big plays were factors.

Uga' offense has been questionable all year...

Our defense played well enough to beat Texas. We shut out Texas in the 2nd half with 93-yard pick-6 and recovering a fumble at our 11-yard line, and we blocked a punt. We had 248 total yards (146 passing and 102 rushing) but we could not score with Marcel Reed because we failed to convert 4th and 1 at the Texas 10-yard line on our opening drive and failed to score on 4th and goal from the Texas 1-yard line. In contrast, backup quarterback Gunner Stockton, who had played in only in mop-up duty of 6 blowout wins, led Georgia to 13 offensive points against that same Texas defense in the second half of regulation.

Two TOs vs us stopped another 6 - 14 pts. They were moving the ball easily (run game) and seems like every balloon ball by Ewers was caught.

Heck Ewers, injured, had one of his longest runs of the season and then Manning scored too.

They beat us easily and it was embarrassing how the defense showed up or didn't show up...again.

They held us, but on the whole we didn't stress their OL nearly as much as UGA did….both times.

Not sure how Georgia is going to fare in the playoff if the QB is hurt and if their punter is hurt.
