We had two and people talked about how "valuable" the regular season was. We went to four and somehow the regular season didn't get worse. Then we went to 12 and somehow the regular season got 100% better. There is no evidence this will devalue the regular season and lots of evidence it will improve it. What they need to do is change to 24 teams and create an NIT like playoff for the rest and kill the bowls once and for all.

I agree with the 24 plus an NIT like tournament using bowl sites. Something to play for. But the bowl games are good for the extra practice etc.

The latest Kinder Texas Bowl website has no mention of Texas A&M. The have possible SEC teams LSU, Ark, ou and Missouri I think. So we are probably headed to Nashville or Las Vegas. Both excellent trips.

That's 1 of the few positives about the bowl games.
I'd like to see Miles O'Neill play the entire 2nd half. Quit worrying so much about winning and let's see some of the up and coming talent get some game time.

We were never going to the Texas Bowl this year since we played there last year. If Bama makes the playoffs, we might get a Florida bowl.

NRG is 30 miles from my house. Anywhere else I ain't going. Stupid move to have one school that is 175 miles away and the other that is maybe 100 miles away go 800-900 miles away to play a meaningless game anyway. Play in Houston or F It. I ain't going

Texas A&M vs Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl would be an epic matchup.
Houston is a beautiful place to spend your Christmas Holidays.
It would be the revival of an old rivalry that would be guaranteed to get high tv ratings.

The Texas Bowl is a fun bowl to play in because the bowl game represents the state of Texas.
Whoever wins the game gets the statewide bragging rights.

That would be my ideal matchup.

The Texas Bowl is one of my biggest obsession's. Some of the games have been epic.
The chance to own bragging rights over an in state rival puts an extra amount of sauce on the game.
