Taking the FG is safe. No complaints if you do it.
But if you go for the TD, you better have a good play called up.

I've been told again and again that Elko is an Ivy League genius of a coach. Not seeing it at all. Dude looks completely lost.

I agree. I understand believing in your team, but that was a mistake on the part of the Elk.

Our O wasn't able to put together a decent drive after the first drive of the game. The best chance to win was going for it a the 1/2 yard line. The problem was the playcall...Klein pulled the left guard and the horn D spilled through like the Red Sea.

It's mind blowing how lost he was in several scenarios during several points of the game.

The mistake was not kicking the fg in the first quarter. In the 4th quarter we had to go for it. Play call was just terrible. Not sure Elco is elite coach material. Not looking like he is.

Elko and Klein are not SEC ready. Elko should demote himself to DC.

My only explanation that makes it not an idiotic call (and I think it was an idiotic call) is that he knew the offense couldn't score a touchdown with a regular field. Need 10 to get to OT and maybe some defense magic. Gotta get the 7 when you have the special teams gift because unless you have another pick six, you aren't going to see a td again. Then squeeze til you puke hoping the offense can get into field goal range in the next possession.

Under normal circumstances, I would say you man up and just try to push your way in. If you don't get, you don't deserve it... However, after not getting key fourth downs against SC and Auburn, earlier tonight, and seeing us get our asses kicked on the line all night, the right call was to kick.

Our Offense could not score a TD for almost 4 quarters. Do you think we could score a TD with no time outs and a few minutes left?

Go for the TD and then put pressure on their defense.

Completely irrational to not kick the field goal that last time. Worse he called a timeout before it too. In what reality was he on during that sequence? Seriously? Take the *********points. Try to stop them, use the 3 timeouts and then try to tie. Absolutely wild. Baffling

With the play Klein trotted out there, yes, I agree, kick field goal.

Now if they actually had called a play to match the players we have on the team at this time and also had the defense no clue what we might be running. I would not agree. Especially since the ball was inside the 1.

If you have an offensive line and OC you can trust, then mayyybbe you go for it.

You go for the FG because your o line sucks a big donkey dick because you were ****ed over by the biggest fraud in college football and his gay ass ***ot friend and left us this year with a bag of dog **** for an o line who ****ed us against usc twicie and then twice tonight.. we need to go out and find the best oline coach we can and pay him what ever he wants so we can get 1 foot when we need it. Then we need to go and recruit the 5 best o line we can with NIL

When you need to score twice and your playcall is to run another failed run right up the gut, you doomed the team.
