I love what Elko has done with this program and I would imagine he knows this importance of this game. My dad, class of 46, and his generation would rather be 1-8 with that win against Texas than 8-1 with that loss vs Texas. I hope Elko knows that several generations feel that way.
My dad even said if Texas played Saddam Hussein, he would pull for Hussein.
