We deserved to lose the game tonight, but the OT rules are absolute garbage in college football. A game like this should not come down to alternating single plays from the three starting in the third OT. Overtime rules have always been flawed, but they were better prior to 2019. Does anyone think this is the correct way to determine the best team on the field?
Spare me the "but what about the potential injuries?!" response. These guys are paid well now, and if we truly didn't want them to possibly be injured we'd ban football and pay them to play chess.
