They were worse than some baseball games with actual homers

That was a great call but shouldn't be throwing to Daniels. This game was lost on the last drive of regulation when Elko and Bateman lost their balls. Get into the soft coverages to start the drive and let them get rolling. Put Lockhart in for York and leave gaping running lanes. The same can also be said for running three plays on our last offensive series without making a serious effort to finish the game then and there. Elko isn't going to last long with this mentality…we've lived with that horse**** for decades and tonight it blew up a defining season. No excuse.

We adjust way too slow to things. we gave up 14 points because we take a series too long to recognize what they are doing that is my biggest grape of the defense.

Agreed. Game prep defensively is not good. No reason to come out like they did against USCe and Auburn. Elko and Bateman have a lot of work before them. And the jury is out on Bateman.
The defense, on the road, is not good. When the pressure is high, they wilt.

With our entire season on the line .........we lose to a team with a losing record !
but........
