Hello Aggies.
It has been a minute since I posted here and I come in peace. I like yall, well enough anyway. UGA, Bama, LSU and Piss I have a problem with and want to see lose every game in every sport and basically die in a fire.
That said, IMO tomorrow night is gonna be a problem and a more difficult game to win than against TX next weekend. TX was better last year than this year. We are better this year than last year although our record does not reflect it.
We have found ways to lose all year. Everyone we have played with the exception of GA in Athens has needed a lot of help from us to beat us. I'm sure very few will agree with me, but IMO, A&M is going to need help from Auburn to win tomorrow night. Which very well could happen. But if it does not and both teams play at the same level without major mistakes, AU is probably going to win. Play by play we have been better than everyone we have played all year with the exception of GA in Athens.
I'll bottom line my unwanted opinion here. You guys are getting the short end of the stick going into next weekend which understandable means a hell of a lot more, more than any iron bowl game since 2013 or 2010 which are probably comparable emotionally. Tomorrow night is going to be a violent game. Period. Our D is legit and loves contact, too much at times. A&M's D is even better and just as violent. UT plays a beaten down UK team that is ready to throw in the towel IMO.
If AU does win, do not let it beat you twice. If the Aggies win, beat UT and best of luck in Atl and beyond.
Auburn is a talented team with a poor head coach…. That's what it looks like to me and I feel like most Ags know what that looks like- we suffered through Jimbo… where we routinely lost despite having more talent.
I'll be honest, I'm not sure the players even like Freeze (mostly offense). I imagine they love Durkin- I wish we still had him here TBH.
Say all that to say- it could go either way but it hasn't broke for y'all in the 2 years since Freeze got there. Until that happens, that's who the program is
