For some reason scoring 38 bothers me. Should've just gone to 40ish makes the aggies look better imo. Sometimes I wish one day we can run up the score which can help boost offensive team morale.

I'm actually glad Klein focused more on giving Smith more reps and putting Reed into positions where he had to rely on his arm more than his legs. It was clear we were gonna run up the score with our usual game in the first quarter, so why not spend the other quarters on figuring out how we can improve going forward?
And two picks in the end zone also took points off the board.

That first pick was disappointing, but personally, I wasn't as bothered about that as I was with the previous throw where Reed threw on the run and missed Watson. I feel like if Reed is able to throw accurately while running outside of the pocket more, he will become a very dangerous QB in the SEC.Emilio Fantastico said:

When Reed sets his feet and throws, he's generally accurate. When he's backpedaling or scrambling and running scared, his throws are much less accurate.
To your point above, if he can become more accurate throwing from a less-than-perfect position, he will be very dangerous.

I was talking to my friend's gay son Robbie, and he agrees with you. 40 is so much more of a statement than 38, it means more in the committee's eyes. I don't know if we will make the playoff not scoring 40 against cupcake teams like NMSU.
