Does anyone at tu even acknowledge the obscene amount of luck they've had thus far?
I don't have any sip friends so couldn't tell you
I'll be the first to admit that the schedule turned out to be easier for Texas than anybody thought, with both Michigan and OU sucking as bad as they do, but other than that, I haven't seen much luck. They played two and a half games with a backup QB, and lost their top two RBs before the season started. I think they're about where they should be in terms of W's and L's. But there aren't any easy outs the rest of the way so they better buckle their chin straps and get to work, or they're gonna finish 8-4.
Are you for real?
Easier than thought? For who?
Everyone knew Michigan was not good. This bad? Maybe not quite this bad.
Everyone knew OU wouldn't be good. Most had them tabbed at 7-5. So maybe not quite this bad.
Vandy is their best win and hopefully will be. Vandy has a really good chance of going 6-6
Injuries?
Qb was out for freaking ULM, miss st. Unlucky is missing those guys for OU or Mich, etc. teams that are top 20 in talent
Who didn't lose their top RB preseason or a significant player
Luck is playing Arkansas without their QB at Arkansas.
Luck is playing Florida that was starting to turn heads with their play just one week earlier and then lost their catalyst. By the way they were down to 3rd QB.
In large part due to their very weak and friendly schedule, they haven't lost any really big time players. I look for that to change the next couple weeks as they play 2 of next 3 in road and against hard nosed teams
