This isn't the first game BYU has been gifted this season

The Utes are mostly "jack mormons". The majority does not belong to the Latter Day Saints. Unlike BYU which is 99 percent.
So to be a buzzkill. Your title sucks.
Here’s a zoomed view, with some slow mo peeks.

So you agree that it was a hold.TAMUallen said:
When you have to zoom in and take a screenshot, that's not called. If I did that every Aggie game, I wouldn't be done until December at earliest

We can all move along now.

A hold is a hold is a hold. The fact that the QB didn't throw is irrelevant. If he'd thrown, then defensive holding would have become defensive pass interference.
That having been said, the only angle on TV last night was absolute crap (wide angle with the play in question at the top of the screen). The link provided above wasn't much better. I have no idea if there was enough there to call the hold... but the QB's situation is completely irrelevant.
There was one penalty all game on both teams up to that point for pass interference. No defensive holding calls.dabo man said:

Daughter is a senior up at BYU. I think the Kansas game could be tricky. Their record shows a terrible team, but they've beaten U of H and Iowa State. I also think the Houston game can be tricky for them.

Probably a trust issue. How do you trust somebody who eschews a good cup of coffee or iced tea but thinks it's okay to chug hyper-sweetened sodas?

Hold or not a hold?

Sideline judge had a clear line of sight.
Defensive back grabbed the outside of the the shoulder pad and almost pulled WR to the ground.
Should he call an objective hold in a critical situation such as this? pic.twitter.com/r1Jsto4VEo
