There have been many disappointments on the Longhorns schedule. Oklahoma (5-4) and Michigan (5-4). Does that mean that Vandy's at 6-3 is their best victory? Sooners are also 1-4 in SEC play where as the might Commodores are 3-2. Night game at Kyle Field FTW!!!

They don't have any good wins. If we can't manage to beat them then we will be their best win.

Bro! those clowns can play a full sunbelt and MAC full schedule and the committee would absolutely ignore the weak schedule. They'll find a way to ensure entry for them with 4 losses this year.

by the end of the day...Vandy could be the sips' only win over a P4 team with a winning record

Michigan at Indiana

OU at Missouri

Funny how a schedule that looked like death row in the preseason can turn into candy land

I think at the beginning of the season ou, Mich and Georgia looked like a challenging schedule, not to mention two rival games on the road at the end of the season. I think their SoS is better than the Aggie's but I'm not sure without double checking

Michigan was highly overrated from the get go. Just about everyone here knew that.

OU was expected to be better true.

But go look at threads when scheduled dropped and in August. Even on non-Aggie boards. The talk was how weak the horn schedule was

Yes, Vandy. Hoping to add a win over UF's 2nd/3rd string.

Honestly doesn't matter and I hate the whorns as much as anyone, live in Austin and know how annoying the Walmart fans are.

However, if we had beaten a below average Michigan team on the road with only loss to Georgia, we'd be ranked in top 5 too.

Weak sched and favorable home sched in SEC…didn't have to go on road until Vandy (at beginning of yr, considered layup game even via Saban). OU always neutral site and doesn't count. Granted They can't help it that UM bad and Ou bad, but laid cupcake sched w MS St, KY, and Vandy.

On flip side we don't have UGA nor Bama on our schedule and effed up at USCe.

It was a very weak SEC schedule and anyone that thought Michigan was going to be even close to last years team didn't recognize what they lost.

Vandy lol. Next year they will have to go to the swamp with floridas stud QB healthy (who we had to play), and to the hedges. Hope they get blown out at both venues

If we beat them, they will be 10-2 and (likely) not have beaten a single team that ended up with 8 wins.

Best candidate is Colorado State who is currently 6-3 or Vandy (also 6-3) who would need to beat LSU or UT to get to 8.

While it does seem crazy to say this late in the year, yes, Vandy is their best win. And if vandy played like they have all year long it would not have been a victory!

But that is what happens when you draw a schedule that does not include Bama and LSU…which I'll say over and over…any schedule without both of those teams in it for Texas is a joke. And so far they have had a joke schedule. But they are winning and they are talented.

Nothing looks more foolish than tradition to those who have none.

There is a really good chance that by end of regular season, the Horns will have played all of 2 P4 teams with a winning record. While the Ags will have played at least 4, probably 5, and possibly 6

It's not like our schedule was murders row. In conference, outside of LSU the only other team we played with a pulse was SC and they embarrassed us.

Both of us should be taking care of this year better. Texas not even being competitive against USA at home is alarming considering their schedule. Had Weigman lived up to potential or hell even Marcel started the year we'd be further along.

But if they win next year at Ohio State and at Georgia, I'll give them credit.

We go to ND, tu, Arky, LSU and Mizzou next year. So let's pray Marcel develops and Arky and Mizzou fall back even more or next year getting to 1 or 2 losses only is gonna be a challenge.

Hell, tu could lose next weekend to Arkie, so we don't know what will happen.

SC didn't embarrass us. We embarrassed ourselves with that pathetic display of tackling.

At this point, what is our best win? L$U and Mizzou are trash along with the rest of our SEC schedule and we have much worse losses.

I'm not saying we're a bad team but with all this QB inconsistency and Moss's injury, we're a lower tier top half SEC team.

I do think the game being at Kyle has the ability to make the game interesting, but until I see more consistency from our offense, I'm just not believing it until I see it.

I predicted 8-4 with a stupid loss (SC was it), and we can still exceed my expectations. Unfortunately, I don't trust this team to get there at this point, blowing our greatest opportunity to give a big FU to tu in welcoming them to the conference.

This thread cracks me up.

People just trying to use teams records to justify stances.

Yes our SEC schedule is easier than it has been the last 12 years. But it's still tons stronger than the sips schedule.

Hey Ags, it's OK to state their schedule is pathetic. And the gators team they got was on their 3rd string Ivy League walk on QB. Please quit showing how bad you have BAS. It's embarrassing.

We control our destiny and the only hard game left is at home.

Hmm… Ags could be 6-2 in conference, same as in 2012, I think. And not be a top 11 team.

We had a one loss conference record a few years ago and not deemed worthy of a top four seed (even with RC on the committee).
