Are you berating posters on a football forum about the content of their football posts (our opinions) because it bothers you? As simply "a fan and an observer" what are we allowed to post and talk about on this Aggie Football forum? Certainly you think there are limits to the Aggie football content we should be discussing so I just need you to clarify that for all of us.

So we played poorly and lost

It happens

We still gave everything on the table: sec title, 10 win season, etc..

Sit back and we can hopefully enjoy the next 3 games with 3 wins and a trip to Atlanta

Yes, we were outscored 24-0 in an atrocious 2nd half, but we can reach the SEC Championship Game by winning out. I think our floor is 9-3 because we should be double digit road favorites at Auburn. Nevertheless, the road game at Auburn is a trap game because we will probably be double-digit road favorites, and it comes before the Lone Star State rivalry showdown with Texas at Kyle Field. We must beat Auburn to secure a 9-3 regular season finish and a 6-2 SEC record. If we do that, we will be playing Texas for our first-ever SEC Championship Game and College Football Playoff appearances.

Will be interesting to see how USCe finished the season. They still have Vandy, Missou, and Clemson. If they manage all wins (which they can) then it will help us exponentially if we need it. Win out and hopefully we won't.

South Carolina is a 3.5-point road favorite at Vanderbilt, but I won't be surprised if Vanderbilt beats South Carolina for the first time since 2008. I think South Carolina will beat Missouri by double digits. Missouri lost both of their SEC road games at Texas A&M and Alabama by 31+ points. South Carolina will likely be a double-digit underdog at Clemson. I think South Carolina will finish 8-4 (5-3 SEC) with 3 more wins over Vanderbilt, Missouri, and FCS Wofford and one more loss to Clemson.

Funny you say this but when I point out we aren't as good a team as the board thinks we are, I get lambasted. Sorry, I am very happy this team is 7-2 but we struggled against Arky, Miss State and that MAC school.

Elko has done an amazing job with tools he has, but we are not Georgia or Texas yet.

The game Saturday night was embarrassing and fans should call it out. We didn't score in the second half. WE allowed 500 yards after contact. That is not good.

By the way, we haven't won a conference title in 28 years. So I can understand a little bitterness creeping in.

Two years removed from losing to App St and losing six straight games for the first time since 1973.

Cool. We do the same to them. There used to be and may still be a whole thread devoted to horn meltdowns.

We're ahead of schedule. Elko has proven both his ability to:

Win on the road in the SEC
Recruit and evaluate talent
Win big games at home


Overall, I'm excited about this team and our program. I think if you had asked if we would be in the playoff discussion this late in the year most people pre-season would have said no.

Now if he can somehow beat Horn and we can resist the urge to give him a silly contract we are set.

If we dont win, our team, players and coaches all suck.

Majority of the "fans" need to get off this board and grow up. Been watching Aggie football for far too long and Elko is nothing but incredible. Best coach we had had by a long shot since Slocum.
