black unis were clean

The Vol's black and orange are outstanding.

I'm usually not huge on all the alt uni crap, but those black ones we wore top notch. The helmet was outstanding. The ON3 guy was saying ours were the new standard bearer for what black alts should be nationwide.

Loved our black unis but still a huge miss that they have no maroon incorporated whatsoever. The Tenn unis get the nod over ours since they at least include their orange color as well.

I absolutely loved our black unis. Wasn't sure at first BUT they might be my favorite combo ever!

Ags, of course. But the helmet script was a huge miss. It should have been a white aTm logo trimmed in silver, like the jersey numbers.

I liked ours well enough, but having a bright color as part of the brand is a significant advantage for pairing with blacks and greys. Tennessee wins.

That said, I'm starting to feel like the script "Aggies'' should be our default helmet.

UT better as their colors are orange and white and they incorporated orange into their black uni. Our uni. had ZERO maroon.

I am not 100% anti the blackout uniform we wore vs. lsu, but would have preferred all the #s and letters be maroon with a white outline and think that would have looked much better (white outline as maroon is less of a contrast to black than that bright orange is)

Having said all that for UT, their black unis are not nearly as good as their grey "smoke" uniform.

The uniforms were perfect in my opinion. I'd of liked the helmet to have had the A&M logo in the state of Texas outline though. I think any maroon would have thrown it off. But that's just me, hope we see them again!
