It was a Johnny INT that started the play. Watch the video. I don't recall that we ever ran a wildcat when JFF was in the backfield. Why would we?

Used to be La Tech 2012 game video on youtube; whole game. You could see it, but editors have heedlessly excised the play from the highlight reels. Ags were on LT goal to go, Manziel throws pick, LT running free, returning it all the way back, rest is history. Not a wildcat play almost certainly.

The video above is exactly what I recall. It was run from the wildcat. Johnny comes running in from the left on the video. Maybe you are thinking of a different play or game.

Still think Sumlin & Kingsbury LET JOHNNY DOWN AGAINST OUT FLA OPENER.

Johnny couldn't be stopped in the 1st half. Muschamp wasn't going to let a Fish beat him and put spys on JFF specifically. Our coaching staff did NOTHING to help JFF in the 2nd half

We could have gone to the RUN, dont worry about Shoot, but no. They made us 1 dimenional and we made NO ADJUSTMENTS.

I wish any JFF haters would go away and not post here. He did amazing things for our launch into the SEC. HE is the reason for our facilities and upgrades. HE is the reason for athletes getting NIL money, which they are owed.

Don't even trip. If you are a hater of JFF, you don't understand the world.

of course,..they were inferior coaches

only if we won that FL game...

Summlin made numerous mistake like calling out time out to freeze the field goal attempt that back fired...FL missed his FG but Summlin called time out and FL 2nd attempt was good...kind of dumb luck **** summlin was full of it during his tenure.

Obviously, I remembered the play as starting with an int, but there it is, a fumble popping out of the pile and therrr's Johnny coming into view. Oh well, got most of it right. A candidate for the most memorable play from the all-time Aggie GOAT.
