It wasn't much of a read. Gay is a bit of a weenie NY sports writer. His primary point is that sipfan behavior is sort of indicative of where the country is headed. He thinks the refs should be held accountable for bending to home fan misbehavior. They should have stuck with their original call and tagged the home team with a penalty on the fans.
