I was with some suppose die hard sip fans at the bar we were at watching the game. They were all high and mighty about how well they've done first year in the SEC and no one wanted to give them respect or a chance at the beginning. Of the year. Turns out they were T-shirt fans (never went to school there) and gave up and left with 9 mins left and said they didn't care anymore and looked defeated but played it off. Such a pc of sht fair weather pretend fan base.

As a member of the FTAB, I will tell you we had to dodge a lot more beer and glass beer bottles in red stick than we did in Austin. Then there's the damage of Kyle Field after an LSU game...

Yes. LSU fans give you a hard time, but it's all in good fun and they will probably feed you good food after. They're like that guy who'll cut you down but you can't get mad because it's funny.

Storytime: my first time there with the band early '90s they were throwing hot dogs at us and yelling "Heil Hitler Gomer Pyle." Then, they gave us a big standing ovation after the performance and left the stands during their band to get more hot dogs.

They give a hard time because, well, it's fun. Texas does it because they genuinely think they're better than everyone and it irks them that you don't recognize their "superiority. "
