So Old Sarge is a registered trademark and to keep track of de Mari's they hade to be used publicly periodically. I'm sure this retro campaign is related to maintaining those registrations. But it also is part of the reintroduction of Aggies on baseball uniforms and coaches aching gear for the football staff and on basketball uniforms. The Jason Cook branding is being softened to not alienate fans.

I had Earl for drafting. At the time, he wrote the book on drafting. Good times.

I had a very good guy for Engineering Design Graphics but his name escapes me. Wasn't Jim Earl. But I took a high school class that was equivalent my freshman year because Dad hoped it would cure my awful handwriting. I also took typing that year in case it didn't. I rarely write and often type though on keyboards not typewriters!!!


Edit: Best memory is last name Skowronek. We have an Emeritus Assoc Prof in Eng Tech named Richard Skowronek and guessing that is he.

I'll add I have a special love for those who invent comics and Ol' Sarge creator Pete Tumlinson also worked for a while at Timely Comics under Stan Lee. 'Nuff Said!!!
