I don't get a lot of hate vibes from Arkansas fans for A&M. They DO hate both UTs, especially the ones in Austin.
They don't like us.

They DESPISE sip.

Yea the CAF was the old Confederate Air Force ( used to be based in Harlingen) now the Commemorative Air Force. (now based in Dallas) …. they preserve and fly old WWII warbirds. I have been active with them since 1980 and knew a couple of the guys who flew with them that were crop duster pilots. Thought I might know him.

Funny. I work with and live and do tons of business in Arkansas. My neighbor ranch owners are both Ark grads. ALL of them pull for A&M except when we play them. ALL like the FTAB.
ALL of them truly, passionately hate t.u.

My experience, too.

I believe the majority of current students at Arkansas are from Texas, curious as to how this affects the hate.

It just depends on who you're talking about. Old school Arkies who have no ties to anything but Ark football (or baseball for that matter) might not feel that way. A&M is definitely one of their hated rivals. Maybe not to the extent of others (won't get into a debate about levels here), but we are up there.

However, you take the modern era 40s-50s aged Ark grad who is a casual fan and might have an Aggie kid or kid-in-law. They feel the same way about Aggies as your friends.

I had been calling on folks in Ark since 1981. Clients ranging from 70's to 20's. The older Arkys actually complimented TAM more than the young. Mainly due to the respect and reputation of the military years. Some of them actually served with TAM grads in old army years.
Had our neighbor ( who are in their early 30's) and their parents ( in their 70's) over for the game yesterday along with a bunch of Arkys from two well known fishing boat manufacturers…… All Arky grads or families of such.
We had a blast. ( They all especially wanted to see the halftime stream of FTAB.)
I've just never experienced nothing but respect and compliments from all the people up here from all those years on TAM.
But they all have an intense dislike for the horns.

We always underestimate Arkansas and typically barely escape with a lucky bounce. I see the zoo has already penciled this in as an easy W just like our team usually does.

This is their Super Bowl and they will play their game of the year against us just like they always do. Not to mention this is the last time they get the advantage of playing in Tx and not being the away team.

Go ahead and plan a picnic Saturday if you can't handle a tight game that doesn't end in a lucky oink doink.

Me? I like to miss my bets so I'm going all in on pig covering the ridiculous +3.5 spread to see if I can't ruin my Saturday regardless of what happens.

That "ridiculous" spread was not ridiculous at all, turns out (as dead on as you can get given they're not going to do a whole number spread at that low a number) and you failed on your cover.

Looks like you managed to take a perfectly enjoyable afternoon of Aggie football and ruin it after all.

we should sign up for another decade of game day in Arlington.

why not ?

We are winning in Arlington and why abandon a winning venue? plus will drive collective hogs insane if we keep winning in cruelist fashion. Outside of blow out wins, this is the best type of wins.

Haha you could've pointed that out before you knew the results you know. Amazing how so many of y'all are still mad after a win. Luckily I came to my senses and went heavy on the Ags to collect.

Now go touch some grass, it will make you feel better.
