Too many people on here are focused on the fact that BG is not a big name program so we should have crushed them. That is a good and experienced football team that just did the same thing to Penn State....relax and enjoy the win

A good indicator of how a team does in a game can be seen in the response of the head coach at the press conference. From Elko's demeanor, let's just say I wouldn't want to be in the film session.

Agreed. We are a bad team right now. I watched the Illinois Nebraska game and those are two well coached teams making plays to win the game. Out best offensive strategy is to try and draw a penalty. Our Defense looked the worst it has all year and our offense is still extremely ineffective.

BG is not a good team…just like Notre Dame isn't a good team. Both of them would get killed by a team worth a damn. Stop trying to inflate BG into a team they are not.

I'd say that BG had a couple of good players on O, the RB and TE, and they did their best to get them the ball. It also looked like they knew what defensive plays we were going to run and ran plays to take advantage of that. I think we were out-coached.

True, they're not a good team and this was not a quality win, but BG also isn't a Kent State type team that we were ever going to beat by 50. I was very disappointed in the quality of play by our guys. All that said, it's better to be 3-1 than 2-2 right now.

Agreed, still getting blown out on too many big plays defensively and have a stagnant offense, hate to say it not much has changed since jimbotarded left

If players and coaches are reading Texags and it's impacting their paid performance then we have a problem.

Wrong. We are the best fans in the country. of course our stupid message boards are full of negatives but we show up, yell, support our teams like no other. Don't blame fans blame guys running the operation for the last 40 years.

Opponent plays a big role in seeing improvements. We played a better opponent this week as opposed to last and therefore didn't look as crisp.

Exactly how I feel about our team right now. It's reasonable to think they are not as cupcake as we would believe in first glance, but it's also ridiculous to think that this went nearly as well as we expected.

Still, it's much better to fret as a 3-1 team than a 2-2 team.

If you really think this, then I'm glad for you that you aren't an LSU fan. You haven't seen "negative culture" if you think THIS is "negative".
