Really? According to the NTSB in 2021 10,903 traffic deaths were directly caused by drugs. Alcohol deaths not added to this number.
So we know almost 11,000 drivers did not drive better being high don't we?

CW had the highest QBR in the country last week and was also leading the country in QBR when he got hurt last year. I know some of you expect every Aggie QB to be JFF but I swear if some of you saw Jesus walk on water right infront of you you'd say you expected more.

Mrs. Weigman,

Last week he played a glorified high school varsity team.

The week before he played a sort of good college team and couldn't throw a flat route to the RB

Mr Weigman,

all that matters is whether your son can throw the ball further than 6 yards down the field accurately.

Even with the game last week he has failed to demonstrate that he can do so this year.

And we are two games into the season.

Ha ha, I got into the Whistle Pig. Back porch, belly full, and watching HS football recap.

I don't know how good we are. I also don't know if we are that bad. All I am saying is, we control our destiny.

If Conner doesn't play then I would expect to see both Reed and Henderson both get reps so they can get a look and further develop both. Then TA gets all of their dreams come true.
Should have given each of them a quarter last weekend instead of giving Reed the whole half.
You give your QB2 every single possible snap in that game 1000 times out of 1000. Can't afford to take reps away from him for QB3.

There is a reason Elko is coaching and no one on this board is. Goodness gracious. Hell, there's a reason position coaches at JUCOs are coaching. ahead of people on this board who think they know better.

You could switch out Elko's name for Fran/Sherman/Sumlin/Fisher in that sentence and it would all sound the same. For whatever reason we can't get the QB position figured out correctly with the exception of a few and there have been so many QB1s and QB2s since Fran

Our coaches seem to hold on to QBs that are either QB2s or can't develop them. We have also had coaches that can't manage the QB locker room properly

For the love of all things Holy, they're getting millions of dollars and they have all had some very talented QBs to work with

How hard is it to get this right?

For the millionth time

Start Reed, keep Reed as the starter. He has the highest ceiling. He's the youngest QB we have. Get him the reps, and experience!

Maybe the dumbest take in this thread.

Might be the dumbest take on TexAgs, actually.

This dude, poppin his self-proclaimed sativa's and playing armchair coach....all of a sudden has more coaching credibility and football acumen than current staff? And apparently every staff prior? Based on the few snaps he's seen CW take on TV thus far?

As compared to a group of highly sought after coaches, that have seen each player thru 1000's of snaps? And every thrown ball, every tape session, every QB meeting, and every player's dimeanor when they're around?

I don't know that CW is gonna be the legend everyone's expecting....probably won't....but in terms of whether he should be QB1 or not right now, given the rest of what's in that room....i'm gonna go with current staff and their decision, 100x out of 100.

And yeah, it's possible Elko isn't taking us to the promised land....odds and %'s say he probably won't....but still, in terms of whether CW should be QB1 right now, the staff is gonna know best.

And the armchair coaches need to stick to their armchairs....complete with their big bag of Cheetos, sitting shirtless in their tighty-whiteys, just 1 game away from another Natty in video game football on their Playstation 2.

He's not the same player he was before the injury

He's playing scared because he's terrified of getting hurt again. And ok, that's not unreasonable, but it also means he shouldn't be starting, especially on this sort of offense

If the marijuana addiction is outrageously false, where are the strong denials that should be coming out. Friends, high school and college teammates, Conner himself, coaches current or former, trainers, teammates at A&M, Liucci?. Why is not someone putting the lie to this wicked rumor???? Where are the insiders coming out to rebut this slander?

Why is no one coming out to confirm his being listed as "questionable" is due to a specifically identifiable injury or condition? Yes, they may be trying to hide the reason from Florida. Or do they not want the A&M fans to know what is really going on.
i have it on great authority he does. So does majority of the team. Weed isn't really a problem as long as you aren't high playing(screw you chris Marshall and smoke bouie)

I wouldn't look too much into it, most of the guys you see play smoke regularly and it doesn't really affect them.

There's a growing movement among former and current NFL players calling for the league to lift its ban on marijuana. As the pro-football season wraps up Week 2, 18 athletes are sidelined for unspecified substance-abuse violations, which, says sports agent Brian Fettner, who represents a roster of NFL players, "is almost always marijuana."

Well, the answer would have been a resounding "yes" in the case of Percy Harvin.

The former NFL wide receiver revealed in a recent podcast with Bleacher Report's Master Tesfatsion that he smoked weed before every game he played in the league. According to Harvin, the marijuana helped combat his anxiety disorder.
