From a limited sample size CW does not appear to be the best fit for Klein's offense. If he is hurt we will find out if Reed or Henderson fits the scheme better, seeing how both have better running abilities on called run plays they may. Think one of the ideal QBs for Klein's offense will be on the other side of the ball, huge strong kid with a great arm with Lagway

Some guys are injury prone, I was preseason all district 2 years and never was all district since I got hurt 3 out of 4 years. My body could not handle the abuse.

No, they are actually further apart than people
want to admit. This week we are back to the ND version.

Based on what I've seen of CW, I think I'd rather see #10 or #16 if am honest.

Weigman was horrible Vs ND.
He talked in the Monday PC that one game does not define him.
He played good against McNeese. Scored 5 TDs. Left game.
He again talks at Monday PC. Leadership and other areas.

And now questionable.

I have no idea what's his issues are this year. But what he stated in his PCs does not line up with what's happening since Monday that makes him questionable. It seems he states things he wishes were true but the actions are not lining up. Does not appear like a player with confidence.

Or maybe (putting a few puzzle pieces together) he suffered a shoulder injury vs ND that they thought he could play through and it's gotten progressively worse to the point he can't throw consistently?

Not sure what yall were watching vs McNeese but Reed definitely isn't ready. He short hopped three easy throws and his biggest production was one read then tuck and run. If Weigman doesn't play I hope Reed kills it. Based on last Saturday, there might be a lot of upset people

If CW can't go, Henderson should start. He's an experienced veteran and looked fantastic last season. Do we really want Reed's first start to be in the Swamp?

Henderson did not look fantastic last year, he looked good though. Unless you are a once in a generation QB like Jameis then good is your ceiling in Jimbo's offense

On the bright side of NIL and the transfer portal, it has changed CFB enough to where it's much easier to not give a crap about A&Ms comical misfortune.

While I would have liked that as well, it just means Elko and Klein have their minds made up on it and wanted to give their #2 max reps in that situation.

We got to see a little over a full half of Reed last week. People act like that didn't happen. It was quite clear why Weigman is QB1 and Reed is still QB2. Reed has a lot of potential but there was a clear gap between the two.


We also as a fanbase should really stop the unsubstantiated rumors about weed and Conner. I'm not sure what you all think that accomplishes in a positive way for our program.

Or maybe the lack of confidence he showed against a challenging team is showing up again this week bc we are not playing a directional school. Jackie said after the ND game Weigman looked nothing like the QB we saw the first two years. No swagger or confidence. So it's not just me seeing this lack of confidence.

As far as which QB to play if Weigman is out. Henderson seems the better option to me purely based on SEC experience. My guess is Reed was number 2 bc he was younger ( did not want to think about transferring) and they placed him there over Henderson to start purely bc of course they thought Weigman would be number 1 all season. Now with Weigman possibly out, I guess they most likely stay with Reed at first. But it's more bc they had him at for 2 to start bc of above reasons. Not bc Henderson would help us have a better chance at winning now.

Until Saturday, we're all 50/50.

Some smart SEC coach will figure that out & list the entire team as 50/50.

Maybe he was hurt before ND. Best of luck to the kid but I'd think the staff started their best option to win in both games.
