Who said that? We had a **** ton of transfers with the new staff.

Why is sacks the only thing being held up as the sign of a dominant defense? The 1st string defense for the 1st half held them to 2 first downs, 79 total yards, and had 2 turnovers (interceptions - one of which was caused by the QB being tackled). Pretty dominant. Then we were able to play a lot of backups for the rest of the game to get some reps.

But we didn't have any sacks so I guess we do suck balls. Chill out for goodness sake.

Because there's a lot of people here that don't know football but think they do

Our DL may be dominant in practice against our OL, but they haven't impressed me so far this year. As we all know, Notre Dame's OL was young and inexperienced they held up better against our DL at Kyle than they did against NIU at home. To me, that's pretty telling.

His average throwing distance, outside of the first fade he missed badly, was around 5 yards. Only 4 catches went for more than 10, 3 of which were against our back up D. It's really hard to get sacks when the ball is getting out that fast.

I will say TFL is surprising. Our run D is not as strong as I hoped for.
