We should have opened with LaTech, but because of weather that game was postponed, so the season started with a real test rather than a warm up. I used to get riled up about Klatt talking about A&M and the shots he took, but over the years, he's been proven right more than he's been proven wrong, and he seems to take aim more at the administration than the fan base, he's actually praised the fan base quite a bit, even though he does think a bunch of our traditions are weird, and if we're being honest here, they are. I'm now more of the mind set that at least we know we will get some kind of coverage, good, bad or indifferent, in the Ticket College Football segment each week, rather than say, Tech or some other big 12 school. I think its better to be talked about than ignored.

I share the same thoughts with you on what Klatt said this week and he proved to be right in his past assessments of Jimbo for the most part. I also share you sentiments about comparing this opportunity to that game against Florida. Yes this is not Johnny, Mike, Kingsbury and the rest but I could see us unable to be ready enough this early for a team like ND but maybe better than them by mid-year. Hopefully, CK can get CW and the offense firing earlier than our 2012 team and we pull off the upset. And yes, I know we are favored in some instances.

Any score could be right, but that doesn't mean it's reasonable. A&M hasn't been held under 10 points since 2019 @ LSU. They haven't been held under 10 points at home since Sherman was the head coach. Could he be right? Sure, but this is a pretty out there prediction.

Can he explain his confidence regarding the ND offense 'gelling' enough in Week 1 on the road to score 24 points...with an OL that has a total of 6 combined starts of experience, a freshman LT that will have to go up against an elite D-Line, and a transfer QB playing his first game on a new team?

ND's defense is probably going to be an elite but you can easily see a scenario where their offense is going to really struggle in this kind of a Game 1 test.

His prediction is ND winning 24-9? You could argue a scenario where Ags win 9-7

That's still not less than 10. That same team put up 20 on Bama on the road and 38 on LSU at home.

If for some reason if Conner cannot get it done I feel Reed can put some points up on the board too, 9 doesn't seem logical.

I've been saying it, Reed, has the highest ceiling. He reminds me of Reggie

Not a fan of Klatt, and he does like to draw the Ags offside, but damn 9 points. I get we don't know how it's going to go in the very first game under the new coaching staff against a top 10 team but 9 points?! GTFO with that.

I think we will be okay, especially if OL just keeps #15 upright.

I forget to mention we have Donovan Green back as well. I hope he knocks the rust off and gets into a groove. If he can have even close to Wydermeyer or Sternberger production our offense can be dangerous.

If we only score 9 pts, than we need to just shut it all down.

With the advent of the portal, I am not sure even Vegas has a clue of which of the top 20-30 teams are great, good, average or bad. They can guess but they don't really know.

Oh I read it. Yet when you say he might be right even though no one thinks that one is going to happen. Neither does Klatt. He just does extreme things like that one for fan reaction and hits. Skip Bayless want to be.

His buffs look good

Might hate it but I get it. He isnt going to change his tune, nor would I, until Texas A&M football demonstrates that can produce a solid offense that can consistently put up 30+ points.

Maybe in 2 years, we will all love him. Thats my hope.
