Just out of curiosity, how would you define a successful 2024 football season? They will play 12 games and most likely a bowl game as well. https://texags.com/aggie-football/schedule

I think Elko will give us 2 more wins.Bill Superman said:
9-3 or bust.
That is exactly what I think about the outcome of the game. Points will be hard to come by. Mistakes and play making on special teams will be the difference. I do like our defense to match up with their zone read offense.NewEra2023 said:
ND breaking in a new O too. Lost both Tackles to the draft. CK will have to be creative, saving nothing for future games.
I'm betting a low-scoring, defensive game. With a turnover or Special Teams score determining the final.
I bet he keeps his job at 0-12…Recentagdoc said:
8-4 at a minimum.
I disagree and here is why, Arky has a really good RB room and a decent QB but that is about it. They are the least talented they have been under Pittman since year 1. I think Arky is in for a rough season. Petrino is still a good play caller but the talent disadvantage will be quite noticeable at Jerryworld.SuperAg09 said:
I think yall are forgetting that Bobby Petrino is back in Fayetteville... we never saw what his true potential could be here because of the Jimbo handcuffs... I really worry about that offense in Jerryworld at the beginning of the season

This is honestly one of the easiest schedules we could have asked for in the new SEC format. 7-5 is a disappointment and signals more long years ahead in a revamped SEC. 8-4 is satisfactory and something to build on. 9-3 we are excited and I would consider this the bar for success, maybe just miss out on a playoff spot. 10-2 gets us in the playoff and we are ecstatic

A winning record would be ok.
