9-3 is something we have seen once in the past decade so that should be the initial bar.

10-2 can happen.

Loss to Notre Dame: bad match up, they have an elite D and so do we but we are breaking in a new O and new staff.

Missouri, tu and LSU: I think we can beat both if we play our A game.

At Florida and at Auburn: Both are talented and dangerous. I worry we split those.

OL and WR are question marks and so is special teams. One opponent other than ND is going to be a match up problem for our OL, likely LSU or Florida or Auburn. Add in one game other than ND is going to be a problem for our WR corps to get open. Then there is the fact that for the last several years these guys have played slop ball under Jimbo and I am not sure that can be remedied in one camp by Elko.

ND breaking in a new O too. Lost both Tackles to the draft. CK will have to be creative, saving nothing for future games.

I'm betting a low-scoring, defensive game. With a turnover or Special Teams score determining the final.

That is exactly what I think about the outcome of the game. Points will be hard to come by. Mistakes and play making on special teams will be the difference. I do like our defense to match up with their zone read offense.

By ending countless threads on this

Paid a ton of money to buy out last staff with a team that finished at 7-5, wouldn't expect the new staff to finish at what the last staff was fired over.

I think yall are forgetting that Bobby Petrino is back in Fayetteville... we never saw what his true potential could be here because of the Jimbo handcuffs... I really worry about that offense in Jerryworld at the beginning of the season

I disagree and here is why, Arky has a really good RB room and a decent QB but that is about it. They are the least talented they have been under Pittman since year 1. I think Arky is in for a rough season. Petrino is still a good play caller but the talent disadvantage will be quite noticeable at Jerryworld.

I think this is fair. If it was year 2 I'd expect 10-2 with the schedule we have but year 1 is always a question mark.

Petrino hadn't been an OC in 25 years and had been somewhere between bad and awful in his last two HC jobs. There's nothing to suggest that Petrino was some genius waiting on Jimbo's handcuffs to break out
