Is the Quinn hype that high right now to have him at 1? Maybe top 5 but 1 is absurd to me.

Manning is +500 but it's a secret

He's QB of a current playoff team that's returning. QBs win it almost exclusively these days. Who were you expecting to be near the top of the list?

I was expecting him to go #8 to the Falcons, but since that bs hype didn't pan out, here we are again. No way Ewers stays healthy all season in the SEC. Easy money.

I'm sure he's going to win it.

Roll eyes

Texas might have a Heisman winner again some day buts it's not going to be Ewers. Too inconsistent.

Why wouldn't Ewers be the favorite. Texas has decade of success being overrated and disappointing. Also didn't Worthy, Whittiker, and Adonai declare for the NFL? So who is he going to throw too? Good luck with that.

If he is only #15 in QBR when playing in the worst BDF since forever, and losing his best WRs, he had better have a big step up in performance in the SEC or no I don't like he will be in the running.

Ewers is a solid quarterback whose coming back to an offensive system he's familiar with that can put up some points.............BUT.........they will be playing a much tougher schedule against wayyy more talent and he's lost his best offensive weapons around him.

Also, he hasn't stayed healthy for a full season.

makes sense he is an early favorite as QB of what will be a highly ranked team.

but he needs to add at least 10 passing TDs to his totals next year to be a contender at end of season

If they are preseason ranked that high you know he has to be a favorite. Plus if Ewers beat out the best QB ever in Manning you have to know he is good.

Good bulletin board materials for SEC defenses. Honestly besides Georgia and maybe us Texas has a pretty easy SEC schedule. If Ewers has a chance to win the Heisman next year is the year for him

Texas is bringing in a Top 5 recruiting class, Top 10 Portal Class, and has a manageable schedule. Ewers is a logical Heisman favorite.

Heisman winner has nothing to do with either one of those. LOL

Funniest part in all of this. Arch/Ewers circus that the sip media will create.

The most curious thing to me next year will be who plays more games.

Weigman or Ewers. No reason to think either will last all season.

Means he has talent around him again and won't be facing many great defenses so they will be able to put up some numbers.

What the heck

Are they staying in the Big 12. I missed that one.

What did you think of Ewers last game this past fall. His game against TCU? Does he look like a QB that will actually win the Heisman? Are Ags really going to debate a very inconsistent QB that gets hurt on our stupid rivals team.

How about Sarks coaching in that Washington game?

Or for that matter. His entire career.

According to my sip nephew they've reloaded with better receivers for 24'.

Whether we like it or not, Ole Side Arm Ewers plays in a high scoring offense that 1) looks easy 2) is fun to watch 3) allows play makers to make plays.
Their offensive philosophy is to create mismatches all over the field and put up big stats.

Whether it translates to the NFL remains to be seen. At Bama, and now texas- qb's/wr's have flourished, and not dissapointed under Sark. They lost Bijan, and actually got better across the board. Ewers going into Tuscaloosa and beating Bama convincingly, is alone going to keep him in the Heisman talk until he leaves college. Penix, Caleb Williams, Drake Maye are all gone. Of course Ewers was going to be a preseason Heisman favorite.

Calzada beat bama as well. Should he be in the Heisman conversation?

The 10 year decision is over.

tu has already gone to the 4 team CFP. They will make the first 12 team and make joining the SEC look effortless in the process.

We could have let them die in the BDF but we destroyed ourselves while giving them a boost they needed.

This is so frustrating to watch.

Sounds like it's already been decided. I'm sure the refs could help out the cause. Nothing would make Snakey happier than sip making waves in our league.

LOL. Ewers went 24 for 43 passing in their game vs Washington, a week before Washington got blown out. There's a reason his nickname is Sewers.

Don't forget JT Sanders.

But Bond, Wingo, Niblack, and whoever else rises to the top of the pack far from a terrible receiving corps.

If you really wish us ill, wish for Ewers to go down early on and for Arch to do pretty well but not amazing before Ewers comes back less than 100% and struggling. Then we've got nobody who's lighting it up and a QB controversy to divide the fans and locker room.

Yeah, plug and play. That works what.......20% of the time.

I would think Milrose would be the favorite assuming he could get back on the streak he was on before taking a month off before the playoffs.

Of course t-sip fan will probably jump in here and tell us how Ewers beat Milrose. New flash.....Milrose was benched shortly after the start of the season for terrible play.
