Turn down the snark on Nolan. I'm as disappointed as anyone about the season and jumbo, but it's hard to play for a program and a coach you lost faith in. Last night Boots jogged the whole first half, and it cost us in the end. Don't know what's up in bball, but they seem to only play up good competition.

If Walter did change his mind and come back, Elko would provide the proper motivation. They all want to win and get paid. He jumped too soon and now probably has some questions.

If I was a coach halfway interested in getting him back, the bitter old Ag rhetoric would piss me off. I swear to god, the loudest mouths on here have never competed themselves. It's hard to get up for every game, every season. Dallas couldn't even get up for a playoff game.

Seems to me that pinpointing a school like he did is not smart from a legal standpoint. he would be better to point fingers at generalities and not entities that could come after you.

That small print gets ya every time. That's why you were here at A&M, was to learn how to interpret all that legal crap. If you can't or don't understand, hire yourself counsel. It isn't rocket science.

Contracts are just that, "In case you get a divorce". Once you get a divorce, it triggers other language in the contract that may have been glossed over during the honey moon. It was all magic fairy dust at the time you got married. It's the divorce when you find out how much she really loved you.

It's not like he's bringing out any earth shattering news. Kind of makes him look silly he thought he gets things for playing at a school by going into the portal.

Guy on twitter named Coach Wade is claiming Walter slept through practices and missed team meetings that resulted in less NIL money be given to him than he expected as well per his NIL contract.

This just in, enititled kid thinks he is wronged when the contracts he signs are enforced... this and more tonight at 8pm on 12 news.

At first seeing Stewart and Nolen hit the portal it stung. Now seeing their odd posts and behavior since leaving it makes me think they were part of the problem with our culture. Wish we knew the full story, but either way they aren't looking like that big of losses now.

So we paid him to play here, he decides to transfer, and thinks we should STILL continue to pay him while he plays at Ole Miss?

This was raised on Twitter and I am not a lawyer or CPA, but it could also be that he just found out he's a 1099 and had to pay quarterly taxes, didn't, and is now getting boned by the IRS on money he's already spent that's now being clawed back.

At least I hope that's his issue.
