Not winning a road game since 2021 was more than enough reason to fire Jimbo.

Jim Harbaugh won every where at all level including NFL...

This guy is near same level as saban

Not many coaches are near saban level but Jim Harbaugh come close.

JF is now revealed as clown who won MNC similar to other clown coaches like one and done coach at Auburn
Chizik although, Chizik is not a clown...but Orgeron is a clown. But Orgeron beat us bunch of time so...i guess JF is the only real clown MNC winning coach meaning he won due to a$$ effing luck.

I pictured Nikolai Volkoff talking to Mean Gene while I read this.

Keep rationalizing a less than thought out firing and hope you're right. It will help you sleep easier the next 6 years while we miss the playoffs Jimbo would have easily gotten us into next year.

Jimbo would not find a way to the playoffs, same as he couldn't find a way to win the SEC West, much less the conference. He had six seasons to do it, and only once was he able to finish second in the division.

He did nothing for over $100 million in salary and "severance", a top 10 paid coach delivering top 40 results at best.

If a clown can win a national championship, can we get our clown back. He's still on the payroll.

Actually, now that I think about it, who is the clown? It takes one to know one. LOL

Jimbo was 1-5 vs. Kiffin and Leach

he wasn't going to get over the hump at A&M

Harbaugh after year 6 voluntarily took a huge pay cut,, used that money to get innovative assistants THEN adapted to their new ideas and way of doing things, let them do their jobs.

Did you get the vibe Jimbo was about to do that?

natty or bust is a good way to constantly bust.

Ive always thought that the goal should be consistently winning 10 games. If do that then championships will eventually occur.

I agree, but we have only won 10 games once in the last 25 years and we haven't ever fired a coach that was going to win championships.

Our problem ain't about the firing. It's about the hiring

I think Harbaugh was working with a more favorable situation in recruiting to Michigan and he definitely won more than Jimbo and was still on the hot seat with their fans.

But changing coaches every three years if you don't get ten wins once is Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies.

I see some of the Ohio State fans talking about firing Ryan Day and I'm like "are you #$*$&#@& kidding me?" The dude is like 58-6 or some ridiculous thing.

You seem to have conveniently left out his record when trying to make your point. He was 49-22 in those first 6 seasons. 3 10-win seasons, 1-9 win seaons, an 8 win and then a mediocre COVID year. Yes, he couldn't beat OSU but he was winning at a high pace.
Every time someone posts one of these nonsense threads about keeping Jimbo, they leave out the records and/or progress of the other coaches vs Jimbo. In every case those other coaches were WINNING but just falling short, or bringing a program back from the dead (Bowden). Jimbo was doing neither.

Harbaugh is smart & adapted

Jimbo is a dumb**** that benched a good player bc he wore sleeves
Imagine running a program where blatant disregard for team policies were allowed

Jimbo would have had plenty of time also. He was fired because he went 5-7 and then didnt appear to be acttually fixing the things that caused that to happen

I have always said to give him one more year…donot know all the circumstances with his firing but team was a few plays away from something good
Jimbo was always a few plays away from 10-2 or 11-1 yet showed zero signs of adapting his philosophy to finding those plays. Jimbo was too stubborn to say the least, offensive scheme was out of date, micromanaging every aspect while letting things like special teams, player development, and strength & conditioning become obsolete are signs of coach that was out of touch. He ran everything like he did in 2013 at FSU yet it was 2023 at Texas A&M and the game had changed drastically. He was not going to overhaul is coaches, S&C, and front office at this point. People in the know knew he was changing so the change was made.
So you're say he couldn't...find the inches?

If you watched Michigan / Penn State this year (suspension game for JH), you'll see the players post-game talk about winning for the Coach and U of M. Maize and Blue. More of the same last night...those players were playing for U of M and JH. Never seen an Aggie team play that way / talk like that for Jimbo / Sumlin / Fran / Sherman. Possibly RC in '98 (D. Campbell, D. Nguyen, R. Coady).

Those players were on a mission for sure - they could have gone full transfer portal last year, but didn't. That's on the coach. Jim Harbaugh made that happen. Forget how challenging the conference is or not, or how evil the media is, that adversity along with Jim H. resulted in last night's victory.

I'd kill to have that...
Stephen McGee's press conference after the tu win when Fran resigned would like a word with you.
