A loony sip friend has stuck to his "we won the head to head against Bama" argument this entire playoff. I asked him how then can Georgia jump Bama at the end. No response.
That game wouldn't go well for sip.

Bama should be above Texas. Took Michigan to OT. Michigan beats the team rather easily that controlled the game against Texas. All this, the final two weeks.
I hate to remotely agree with anything tu....but the way the polls end up is absolutely stupid.
Team A plays Team B for the national championship, where the winner is the champion. By default, the loser should be #2 - because in a game that the winner is the champ, the loser is automatically 2nd best if you apply any form of logic.
The argument would be which is the better team between the losers of the first round. In this case, there is a head to head to go back to, even if it is at the beginning of the season. But both teams have identical records, both teams have conference championships, both team lost in the first round of the "playoff"...and both teams played each other.
It should be:
#1 - Michigan
#2 - Washington
#3 - tu homos
#4 - Alabama
*that is strictly based off of the playoff teams. I still contend that UGA should not have been dropped from #1 to #6 simply because they barely lost in a CCG to Alabama, which was a 1 loss team. UGA was #1 all season, a close loss in the title game should not have warranted such a punishment as it did.

Yup. I'm all for a good sip bashing, but it looks kind of stupid when they just finished their season with a higher AP ranking than we have in all but one year, and that was back when the Germans were wreaking havoc in Europe.
We have been better than the sips every year from 2012 thru 2021. The Germans were doing anything to Europe then. We finished 3rd in the final pole in 2020.
