A&M adds former San Diego State DB Marcus Ratcliffe via transfer portal
The Aggies have made another addition to their transfer portal haul tonight with the verbal commitment of DB Marcus Ratcliffe.
A native of Chula Vista, California, the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder spent a season as a standout on the back end of the San Diego State defense. Shortly after entering the portal, he committed to UCLA on Dec. 12 before flipping to Texas A&M today.
Overall, Ratcliffe is the ninth transfer pledge for Mike Elko since the new head coach arrived in College Station in late November.
In his one season with the Aztecs, Ratcliffe played in all 12 games in which he tallied 49 total tackles, including one TFL. He also hauled in an interception and had two more passes defended.
Stay tuned. We’ll have more as Mike Elko & Co. continues their portal push for our TexAgs Premium subscribers.
