uhh no. He's still been ****ty. He's throwing under 50 percent completion percentage i would guess. That's not good.
He's a true FR 4th string qb. He also likely didn't get a ton of snaps going into the game, because Henderson seemed mobile and thus likely to be able to escape significant injury during this game.
Blaming him for anything in this game is wrong. Playing your first game, unprepared, against a top 20 team in a bowl game is a lot to ask of a true freshman QB.
The playcalling needs to be tailored better for him, but it's likely these play callers aren't very good or experienced at doing that, either.
