App. St.
Even those first three years there was a nagging doubt. We threw out a lot of the softness that carried over from the Sumlin years. But his offensive game plan was SO damn conservative. Fortunately we had the O line play to make it passable. When that veteran O line moved on, Jimbo's offensive game plan went poof.Double Diamond said:
Jeez more of this. Jimbo was really good first three years. And with a solid QB Mond. What will you saying with history as our guide when Elko can't do better?

GIVE IT A REST!!!!!!!!!! Jimbo is GONE!!!! Why keep beating this dead horse???!!! DROP IT, MOVE ON!!!!!!Hot Corner said:
1) We struggled year after year to get short yardage first downs in critical situations.
2) We had multiple quarterbacks injured each year from poor OL play.
3) We failed to execute game after game
4) We continued to be within inches of winning
5) Various forms of on field discipline were extremely poor
We put up with this and much more for 6 years before figuring it out.

His overall record is literally worse than Sumlins.
I am shocked that there are 8 other people on this board as myopic as yourself.

The kickoff time for the 2019 Auburn game at Kyle Field was 2:30 PM eastern on CBS. I was at that game on 9/21/2019, and it got fairly hot. That was the only disappointing loss of the season because we had the toughest schedule in the nation with road games at Clemson, Georgia, and LSU, in addition to a home game against Alabama.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:
You know, I remained a strong believer in Jimbo even through last season (2022). But I did have a bad feeling about his motivational abilities when #8 Auburn beat his 2019 team at Kyle Field in an 11am kickoff. That day, the Ags just did not look like they cared, and that is on the coaches.

OMG this is my exact thought
Swore it was 11, but I stand corrected. What I really remember was how hot that one was, and how crappy the team played at least at the start.Iraq2xVeteran said:The kickoff time for the 2019 Auburn game at Kyle Field was 2:30 PM eastern on CBS.
