That's pretty much exactly what he said. Word for word. And it's fine. He shouldn't have to answer for that 25 years later. Eddie Murphy is universally beloved today and he did a whole routine in Delirious that made what Dan Campbell said sound like it was straight out of the stale lily-white 50s.

I'd guess 3-4% as an upper bound at A&M. Probably higher at t.u. which is known to be more accommodating to 2SLGBTQQIA+ identifying teenagers and young adults.

Though the specific passage you are referring (the adulterous woman in John to is one with footnotes in most conservative versions noting the provenance is inconsistent across early still extant manuscripts.

But there are many verses where Jesus reveals himself as Son of God by forgiving sin and performing miraculous healing that aren't of disputed provenance. And that passage itself is internally consistent hermeneutically with the other passages so isn't the quality of Apocryphal literature from intertestament or pseudo-gospels like pseudo-Matthew or Coptic "Gospel" of Thomas.
