It's no different than a coach being rumored to flirt and then get a raise. Not saying he's doing that, but can't blame him. He's doing the same thing any of us would do in that position. Pay him and let's go!

Reportedly his parents were paid some $$$ in the original recruiting derby

Elko indicated he was interested in players who want to be at Texas A&M
It will take $$$ for the better players. Have not idea where Elko's cut off line is.
May be hard to judge sincerity v highest bid

As you can see from other post the NCAA is pretty much has free agency now. Lots of big name players on top teams throwing their hand out there to see who the highest bidder is
