I would think we would have officially heard from him on social media, much like all the other players that have entered the portal exited with some form of gratitude; the University (Coaches, Students, and Fans) deserve more than this.

The struggle is real. I think his brother is at Woodlands High one more year. I think it's a leverage play, but I bet the family would prefer to stay Until big brother goes to the league after another year and little bro graduates. Who wants to start over another year at different high school. Family dynamics certainly could play an important role.

Nolen is a stud and would be a shame to lose him but business is business. From a quick search his brother is an OL that does not have any starts but a decent list of offers. Would not doubt if Walter is trying to do a package deal to get him more NIL money and scholarship for his brother

No longer about education (hasn't been for a while), stop handing out full ride scholarships to these kids and make them use their NIL money. Give those scholarships to kids who will actually stay at school and graduate.

Oh I'm sure, but I don't believe for a second Michigan folks are somehow first to know. And if that happens to be true and he ends up at Michigan, I think we know what was going on behind the scenes before he entered the portal....which as of right now he still hasn't.

I agree .... how does anyone really know, but it goes back to tampering and if pre-discussions or if family members are taking calls.

Irony of NIL...pseudo bag men are no longer under the table, but there's definitely tampering all over the place.

I'm sure the +1000 kids in the portal are looking for larger paydays. If NCAA push for $30k/pymt and limit NIL concept (whatever form that is) to help poorer schools, it may push almost every kids into the portal to pocket as much as they can in theory if a ceiling ever comes to fruition.

All the top schools are paying very well...

If I'm a parent and helping my kid make a choice I'm explaining the difference from lets say $500k to $1m in NIL money can be lifechanging somewhat if managed well. But NFL money can be generational life changing. Consider good offers but pick the destination that is going to maximize your draft potential. It can be hard to get 18-22 years olds to think long term though with hundreds of thousands of dollars in front of them now though.
