needs to come forward with an convincing explanation as to what REALLY occurred yesterday evening. Even if they have to reveal circumstances relative to the hiring process and name names. The chaos that ensued was an embarrassment that needs some serious mediation by someone in authority.

This is false. As soon as a school seems to have swung and missed on a coach, that changes public opinion. What if our second option decides he doesn't want it if we don't want him. Or maybe Stoops did turn us down. Maybe he should take a second look. Maybe he missed something.

There is a reason these things are supposed to stay secret and just "rumors". This absolutely paints us in a bad light

You feel this way, that's fine, but nothing from last night has been verified other than the zoo was driving the narrative that Stoops was on the way.

Jumping to conclusions minus facts is the zoo way, and hardly paints anything in a bad light other than the many wrong opinions and takes on a social media website.

Because the University and FB pgm. has crap on its face. The search has now become a joke that will not go away in my or your lifetime. If you're not, you should be embarrassed. You will be reminded of it by every other institution's alumni.

What if (and I'm spitballing here) the real fault lies with rich donors who could not go another day with Jimbo, but who did not have a plan for his replacement? Can you fire them or name them now that we are $50M dollars in the hole?

This place is a massive rumor factory. And it ran with it like Usain Bolt at the Olympics after the lead rumor poster implied he knew it was truth.

He got catfished and so did the rest of the posters who were waiting on his every breath.

Nothing drives traffic and revenue from it like a rumor on a message board that lives for rumors.
